Yves-André Bureau, artist

Yves-André Bureau, YAB, is a painter and engineer born in Paris from Canadian parents, he is practicing this art for over 30 years.

In its paintings, Yves-André takes us into a realm of colors. Inspired by the surrounding nature and its changing beauty.

"The characters of my paintings are the trees and the other actors of the nature. They represent the life, the force, the experience and the wisdom of life. My landscapes are also pretexts on which I work to insert the colors and the forms, which give life and movement, that are sometimes even impetuous. Some of the paintings seem to be on fire, so much the force of nature seems to blow in the branches; while other paintings represent a firm but soft force of the life!"

His art is a real invitation to a journey through landscapes, movements and vibrant hues. His impressions guide his brush to create paintings full of life.

"I have been developing my style  in a self-taught manner throughout the years. My art is impregnated of my impressions of the landscapes which abound with undulations. One can see these organic undulations in the sea, in the waves of the lakes or those of the rivers, in the movement of the trees, the furrows of the fields and the paths in forests, which even inspire moon swirls."

"The brush avoids the unreal straight line and rather creates an organic environment with the mystical colors of light and life!"

Let yourself be carried away by the beauty of these paintings so hectic that summarize the uncontrollable nature surrounding us.
